Nutiva Coconut Oil Review

If you read no other review READ MINE. CO54

I am a 34 year old self-employed business-owner with a 20-month old baby.  I was a marathon runner until I had my first (and only) baby at 32 years old and after he was born, I was diagnosted with hypothyroidism.  My TSH was 10.3. I ended up in the ER 2 times in the last 12 months due to being unable to regulate my med’s.

I went to a specialist and was on 27 pills a day (mostly suppliments).  I heard about coconut oil and decided I had NOTHING to lose.  I was already considering shutting down my business because I had no energy to run it.  I have the most severe case of thyroid problems I have ever heard about and by adding one tablespoon of coconut oil to a hemp protein shake in the morning, I am practically healed.

I have done this protien shake for 5 weeks and I am almost back to myself.  EVERYONE has noticed the change.  I took my little boy to the zoo 2 days ago and walked around for 3 hours. If you have thyoid problems, you know hwo miraculous this is.  I am sleeping through the night again and I am thinking about exercising again. I am still a little apprehensive about running- I have been unable to run for soooo long now. But that is my next major goal.

You HAVE to try this. I have told everyone I know with thyroid problems.  Truthfully, I would have eaten lard if I thought it would make be better; that is how discouraged and desparate I was to get my life back.  This is sooo easy and worth ever penney.  And if you melt it, you will barely notice the flavor in your shake.

I use it to cook now- Anytime my recipe calls for olive oil;  I use coconut oil. I hope my testimony inspires you. God made food great all by itself and we have added so much garbage to our diets. I am getting back to the basics now.

So many uses!!!

CO54I just ‘wow’ed my co-workers with brownies made with coconut oil; chocolate and coconut go together so well. I’ve had limited success using it for psoriasis scars, but have only recently been using it daily, so we’ll see. I must be honest and admit I originally got a small jar of this for a personal lubricant for my wife and I. Coconut oil has been used in other countries to treat infections (down there) and after using this my wife has not experienced any of the issues which she was experiencing. We even tried glycerin free lubricants, to no avail. Additionally, I have seen good improvement in my nail fungus after incorporating it into my diet, which was getting worse but at least in my fingertips, is now almost completely gone. I’ve read that coconut oil has anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties and at least for me, it appears to be working.

This particular brand is advertised as cold pressed, not heated or chemically derived (using hexane), which is certainly desired. If things keep going the way they are going, I’m going to have this brand of coconut oil in the house at all times.

We found this story over at MSN Lifesyle, of all places.  The news is out!

British singer Pixie Lott has revealed the secret behind her smooth, moisturised skin is because she bathes in coconut oil.

The British songstress- who reached fame with her hit track ‘Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)’ – keeps her skin smooth and moisturised by using a low-cost body oil in her bath water and directly on her skin for a tan-extending summer skin treatment.

She revealed: ‘I use coconut oil in my bath to keep my skin soft and silky, and in summer months after exfoliating it helps preserve my tan.’ The 18-year-old beauty has also perfected her favourite ‘smoky eyes’ look after taking tips from professional make-up artists. She explained to Britain’s The Sun newspaper: ‘The best tip I’ve learned is, when doing black smoky eyes, work on those before you apply your foundation because the eye shadow can drop and ruin your face.’

09The blonde teenager has also blasted those who airbrush photographs, claiming the image-enhancing technique can cause people to feel ‘inadequate’. She said: ‘I think airbrushing is something to be wary of. Some people take airbrushed images as gospel and this can sometimes lead to them feeling inadequate by comparison.’

Wise words indeed.

Highly recommended!, October 12, 2009

I went through the big size jar in less than a month. Use it in food a
bit, but the main benefit to my family is for skin and hair. I use it
to remove makeup and comb it through my hair before swimming which has
helped strengthen my hair considerably!

The biggest benefit though, is for my boyfriend who has a lifelong
skin condition (ichthyosis vulgaris) which leads to horribly dry skin
and constant itching. Everything except petroleum jelly made his skin
hurt, until I tried this.
It has amazing healing properties and now he has much more relief than
before.

Great product at a great price!
