Smoothie

Yes folks THE Dr Oz, the good doctor who appears on Oprah, has just  recommended a great smoothie with hemp nuts, banana, and blueberries.

Dr Oz suggests:

iStock_000010168213SmallA handful of hemp nuts. These nuts are rich in Omega-3’s which are essential for the health of your brain and nervous system. Additionally, the compounds found in hemp seeds have been shown to promote memory, learning and immune function.

Here’s a great one to start the day.

1-2 cups of almond or rice milk
1-2 tbsps of Nutiva Organic Hemp Protein 50% powder
1 tbsp of  Nutiva Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
2 servings of fruit: 1 banana, 4 strawberries or a handful of blueberries
1 tsp cinnamon

Blend well and serve chilled.
