
Take the fear out of wondering if the coleslaw you are about to eat is too sweet! Enjoy this healthy variation of a sweet coleslaw recipe with some delicious Hemp Oil. Don’t forget to send your favorite recipes over to the Nutiva Recipe Club!
Ingredients:
Variation of Sweet Slaw preparation. Portions are ratio-metric and more common sense and to your taste.
Cider Vinegar
Brown or Natural Sugar
Himalaya Salt
Black Peppercorns
(optional seed or ground spices)
Nutiva Hemp Oil
Orange Juice
Chopped Slaw Mixture
Optional: Pinches of Cardamon- Coriander- Cumin- Turmeric
Directions:
1. Heat in pan: Brown Sugar ~ Cider vinegar ~ Salt ~ Black pepper ~ Optional Seed spices
2. Remove from Heat when sugar is absorbed
3. Add “Virgin Hemp Oil” whip in a little
4. Dilute and cool Mixture with half as much fresh Orange Juice
5. Pour over Slaw and turn repeatedly and each use.
6. An extra Squirt of Hemp oil can be added to taste in turning and is easily absorbed.
Optional: Pinches of Cardamon- Coriander- Cumin- Turmeric
This Sweet Slaw with Citrus tang will make the Winter Blues melt!
