Recipe of the Month

Hemp Chocolate Smoothie with Strawberries

Ingredients:

1/2 cup shelled hempseeds
2 cups water
2 ripe bananas
2 hand fulls of strawberries
5 heaping tablespoons of fair trade dark chocolate powder
flavorings (vanilla, maple syrup or honey)

Directions:

Place seeds into a blender and add small amount of water 1 inch above the seeds. Turn blender on to agitate seeds so they become a thick hemp cream. Then add flavorings, fruit,chocolate, and serve.

Health Tip

Give a Healing Coconut Oil Massage

How would you like to do something super-creative for this Valentine's Day? Offer to give your sweetie a special massage, and ask him or her to step out for a little while to give you time to prepare.

Having set aside two to three hours, first turn off the TV and telephone.
